Airport lounge access

With access to 1000+ airport lounges in more than 300 cities all around the world, Visa Signature Cardholders have the rare privilege of travel that’s tailored to them.

• No registration required to activate the lounge benefit on the Visa Signature card
• Visit LoungeKey website to view program details and card visit history
• Customers will only need to create login details if they wish to download the app
• Applicable card to be presented to the lounge staff at the participating lounge, and the Cardholder references ‘LoungeKey’

Terms and conditions:

• The Cardholder is entitled to 12 lounge visits (Cardholder only) in a calendar year
• To be eligible for the complete entitlement of 12 visits, the Cardholder needs to complete one (1) international transaction** in each calendar year (Eligibility Condition)
• The Cardholders will be initially assigned one (1) complimentary visit each year prior to meeting the Eligibility Condition
• Upon successfully satisfying the Eligibility Condition, the Cardholder becomes eligible for the 11 additional visit entitlement for the year
• Annual lounge visit entitlement and the requirement to meet the Eligibility Condition will reset from 1 Jan in subsequent years
• As part of the default option, any lounge visits outside Visa Lounge Entitlement will need to be paid for by the Cardholder (Visit will be charged directly to the card by LoungeKey)

Protection Benefits

Fraudulent Card Misuse Protection

All Visa Signature cards will be protected against unauthorized transactions or fraudulent use of their card by unrelated third parties. This insurance benefit will provide reimbursement up to USD 2,500 per occurrence with a USD 4,000 annual aggregate limit for Visa Signature Cardholders.

Cover applies to:

Unauthorized charges for which cardholder is responsible that occur 48 hours prior to the cardholder first reporting loss or theft of their Visa Signature card to the issuer

Unauthorized charges incurred in the two (2) months prior to the cardholder first reporting the event to the issuer made while their Visa Signature remained in the cardholder’s possession through:

• in-store,
• telephone,
• ATM withdrawals,
• online purchase(s),
• by using cardholders’ eligible card information

Fraudulent Card Misuse Protection T&Cs apply

Buyers Protection

• Full payment of purchased items must be made with their Visa Signature card either in store or online.

• Coverage for a maximum of 365 days from date of purchase.
• Only coverage for Accidental Damage in respect of mobile phones
• 28 days from incident date to submit a claim but Cardholder must report within 24 hours of discovery in case of theft.

Launch of WhatsApp Channel for Visa Cardholders

Visa has partnered with Aspire Insurance Advisors, an insurance broker, to introduce a new WhatsApp communication channel for Visa cardholders.

The new solution offers a user-friendly platform serviced, supported on a 24/7 basis. The WhatsApp channel will allow Visa cardholders to quickly gain access to benefits details, insurance documentation, contact phone numbers, Frequently Asked Questions, or speak to an agent at any time, all safe in the knowledge that conversations are secure and encrypted.

Launch of Fast Track Claims Solution

Fast Track Claims solution is now live. The new solution will now be applied to cardholder claims under USD 500 on of the following insurance benefit sections:
